Surgical Technologist - $10K Sign-on-Bonus & Relocation - Operating Room
Position Summary:
The Surgical Technician is responsible for providing age appropriate and culturally sensitive care to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients. The goal of the Surgical Technician is to provide care that will achieve a level of wellness equal to or greater than that which the patient had before their operative or other invasive procedure. Duties are of considerable difficulty and based on a thorough knowledge of interrelatedness of body systems and the technician’s ability to effectively interact with patients, their designated support person(s), and other healthcare team members. The Surgical Technician is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:
Successful completion of an accredited (CAAHEP, ABHES, etc.) Surgical Technologist program required.

Experience:
One (1) year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification(s):
Current verification in Basic Life Support required. (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) preferred.
