Robert Whitaker

Whitaker comes to RMCHCS and Gallup from Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas, where he has been serving as Chief Executive Officer since 2020. Prior, he served as Chief Operating Officer for the facility from 2015 to 2016.

Whitaker brings several years of experience as a successful hospital CEO/Administrator with a focus on operational and financial performance, collaborative process improvement, and medical staff relations. His top priority will be to continue to lead the financial improvement plans laid out by the hospital Board and Community Hospital Consulting, while developing new initiatives that advance RMCHCS as a healthcare destination for the region.

Whittaker's executive leadership roles prior to Southwest Medical Center CEO include: CEO for critical access hospital Kiowa District Healthcare and its clinic, located in Kiowa, Kansas; CEO for Hamilton County Hospital, Syracuse, Kansas, where he led turnaround efforts preventing hospital closure; and Associate Administrator for two Universal Health Services' hospitals, Valley Hospital Medical Center and Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, both in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Whittaker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston, and his Master of Public Health degree from Yale University. He and his wife Amy have five children.

Bondi has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare finance and accounting. His career highlights include CFO, Longview Regional Medical Center, Longview, Texas; CFO, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial, Frisco, Texas; and several years as a finance executive with Tenet Healthcare in Louisiana's Lindy Boggs Medical Center, St. Charles General Hospital, Doctors Hospital of Jefferson, and Jo Ellen Smith Medical Center.

Bondi earned his MBA from Loyola University in New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of New Orleans. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Rebecca Martell is Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resource Officer for Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS). She joined RMCHCS in June of 2020. With more than 19 years of experience, Rebecca possesses extensive knowledge of Human Resource functions in a healthcare setting, both large acuity hospitals and rural communities including critical access.

Rebecca is originally from Manitowoc, Wisconsin where she was born and raised. She was very excited to return to New Mexico, with her husband and youngest child, after serving in the United States Air Force, stationed in Alamogordo, NM back in the late 1990's, making Gallup their home.

Rebecca is a graduate of Silver Lake College, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management and Human Resources. She later obtained her Master's degree in Business and Organizational Development from Silver Lake College. Rebecca values continued learning, and holds two additional certifications in Human Resources, her SHRM-CP and sHRBP in addition to being a Master TeamSTEPPS trainer.

In addition to the above, Rebecca serves as the chair for the New Mexico Rural HR Executive group and is in her second term serving on the New Mexico Worker's Compensation board.

Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband Chad and four children to include her grandbaby.


Curry Graham,

Curry Graham currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). He started his career with RMCHCS in Fall of 2020 as the Director of ICU. Curry comes with more than 30 years of staff RN experience with the majority being in nursing leadership roles.

Curry has experience in Critical Care, Emergency, and Flight Nursing as well as adjunct faculty for Chamberlain University. Curry also served as a Combat Flight Medic and later as a Nurse while on active duty in the U.S. Army early in his career.

Curry enjoys spending time at his family homestead of 15 years in central N.M. enjoying the great outdoors in his spare time.


David Hodges

As Interim VP/Chief Information Officer of RMCHCS Dave brings 30 years as an executive with a distinguished track record leading, building, and expanding successful organizations in the healthcare market. This includes serving in senior executive positions, both as a full-time team member and as a contract consultant, leading multiple projects, resolving distressed situations and tackling the most difficult situations facing an organization.

With a BSBA from Roosevelt University in Chicago Dave began his lengthy career at AT&T Bell Labs. He has worked with and promoted the latest technologies in computers and communications. This knowledge base has been essential when working in remote areas of Hawaii, Alaska, and Arizona - just to name a few. It was while engaged in these rural areas of the country that Dave decided to specialize in healthcare of indigenous Americans.

David is proud to have served as a US Marine.


Chris Lang

Chris Lang joined RMCHCS in October of 2020 and currently serves as the Director of Operations. His role as the Director of Operations has oversight of Maintenance, Environmental Services (housekeeping), Dietary, and Security. In addition to operational oversight, Chris is the Emergency Management Coordinator and Safety Officer for the organization.

Prior to joining RMCHCS, Chris worked at the Crude Oil Refinery in Jamestown, NM. Chris has been a resident of Gallup, NM since 2016. He relocated here from Siesta Key, FL with his wife as she and his family in-laws are residents that were born and raised in Gallup. Before relocating to Gallup, he served for nearly 7 years in the United States Army as an Infantryman with a tour in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Chris was born in Austin, TX and raised in Durant, Oklahoma.

Chris is currently in process of obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.


Steve Kittridge

Steve Kittridge is Vice President of Practice Management of RMCHCS. Steve is an experienced healthcare administrator with several decades of related experience.

For the last 12 years, Steve has served in leadership roles supporting medical groups and ambulatory operations. Examples of his roles include: Director of Physician Practices for the Vancouver Clinic; Regional Director of Ambulatory Services for CHS' New Mexico market; and Operation Director for Phoenix Children's Medical Group. Steve's MBA in Healthcare Administration was obtained in 2003 from the University of Phoenix

Steve's earlier career includes a Social Work background, beginning as a hospital Discharge Planner, serving as Clinical Director, and Executive Director of Behavioral Health for Jewish Family Services. He holds an MSW degree from ASU in Clinical Social Work and maintains his License in Clinical Social Work.

Steve's professional interests include Leadership Development, Integrated/Wholistic Healthcare, Quality Outcome Metrics, and Continuum of Care programing. His personal interests include hiking, camping, traveling, reading, and old movies.

He comes to us from Phoenix, Arizona, being transplanted there from Ohio in the "eighties", and has two daughters: Rachel teaches HS English, and Rebecca is in law school at ASU.
