Chair of the Board - Bill Lee

Bill Lee is the President/C.E.O. for The Gallup McKinley County Chamber of Commerce. Bill is a 2012 graduate of the "Institute for Organization Management" and has served on their Board of Regents and as a faculty member, teaching leadership, and organizational excellence. Bill is a Certified Clifton StrengthsFinder Executive and Personal Coach. He is a Past Chair of the New Mexico Chamber Executives Association and was recently re-elected to their board. He is the Past President of the Tourism Association of New Mexico (now the New Mexico Hospitality Association) and was nominated as Tourism Professional of the year in 2018 for the state of New Mexico. Bill served as County Commissioner for District 3 in McKinley County from 2016-2020. He has been recognized as a "Regional Champion" by the Northwest New Mexico Council of Governments and, as one of the "Top 22 C.E.O.s" by Albuquerque Business First. He also runs his own small business, offering Hot Air Balloon rides and flies the New Mexico True hot air balloon for the state tourism department. Bill is married, has two grown daughters, and three wonderful grandchildren.

Vice Chair - Genevieve Robran

Genevieve Robran is currently employed by Presbyterian Medical Services a non-profit FQHC as the Regional Director. She is responsible for overseeing the primary care clinics in five counties in Western NM. These Counties include, McKinley, Cibola, Catron, Socorro and Northern Sandoval serving Cuba and Eastern Navajo. Ms. Robran has 32 years of experience in FQHC primary care operations and is very familiar with all aspects of primary care to include -medical, dental and behavioral health services. Ms. Robran has served on numerous non-profit boards as well as State boards and is very familiar with Gallup and McKinley County.

Board member-Secretary/Treasurer - Dr. Warner Anderson

Dr. Warner Anderson is a physician, anthropologist, and retired US Army Colonel.

Semi-retired, he also is an assistant professor of military and emergency medicine at the Uniform Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS, "the nation's medical school"), and mentors US Army Special Forces medic students at Gallup Indian Medical Center.

Dr. Anderson is a long-term resident of McKinley County, having arrived here after completing primary care internal medicine residency at University of New Mexico Hospital in 1983. He worked for two years as lead physician at the Gallup Family Health Center, then two years in a local group practice. From 1987 through 1989, he was director of the emergency department at RMCHCS. He then moved to the GIMC emergency department, was named chief of emergency medicine, and served in that role until 2001. During this time, Dr. Anderson was also district medical examiner, as well as EMS medical director for Gallup Fire, McKinley County, and Tohatchi EMS.

Upon retirement from the Army, Dr. Anderson returned to GIMC, but the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs requested his assignment to the Pentagon to establish and develop policy for Global Health. Dr. Anderson was the Defense Department's lead expert in Global Health for nearly seven years, providing consultation on health systems to the Afghan Minister of Public Health, the Iraqi Minister of Health and Surgeon General, and many others internationally. In 2014, he retired from Civil Service to return to Vanderwagen.

Dr. Anderson is married to Ruth Macias Anderson, a New Mexico native. They three grown children and four grandchildren, two Rez dogs, a chihuahua, 19 hens, and a gray-capped conure. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and speaks basic Navajo and Arabic. He enjoys running and hiking in the mountains, rifle and pistol marksmanship, and KGLP FM radio.
