Visitors

Update on RMCHCS Visitor’s Guidelines:

Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services has increased its security-regarding visitors to the hospital in response to the coronavirus pandemic. As of Saturday, March 21, no visitors will be allowed into the hospital to see patients.

Exceptions to the no visitor policy are one support person or family member who has passed the coronavirus screening and who are there to:

· Accompany a pregnant woman into the Birthing Center and stay with her during labor, delivery and postpartum stay. No additional visitors will be allowed, either in the Birthing Center or on the Post-Partum unit.

· To stay with a pediatric patient at all times until the patient is discharged from the hospital.

· To accompany a patient at admissions. Once the person leaves, no other visitors will be allowed into the facility.

Terminally ill patients may have one visitor at a time, but this will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

RMCHCS providers and staff members are working round the clock to ensure the safety of our patients and to mitigate the spread of the virus. We understand this is a stressful and scary time. We ask for your patience and understanding and ask that we all make special efforts to be kind and gracious toward one another during this time of crisis.

Be sure to call the CORONAVIRUS HOTLINE at 505-236-1074 if you have had a fever in the past 14 days or have a cough and difficulty breathing before coming to the hospital.
