RMCHCS Behavioral Health Services (BHS) offers high quality, comprehensive behavioral health care to those in need. The individual needs of clients and their families are met with a spirit of dignity and confidentiality. BHS is a DNV-GL accredited program that provides care to all patients without regard to race, color, nationality, gender, age, religion, veteran status, handicap or economic status.

Treatment provided by licensed clinicians
On-call availability for behavioral health consultations in the RMCHCS emergency department.

Cost and Insurance

Out-Patient Services: BHS accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurance and health plans and also participates in special programs that assist uninsured patients. For questions regarding financial information and payment methods, call 505.726.6910.

Staff

Yvonne Mandagaran, LPCC, is a lifelong resident of New Mexico. She was born and raised in Grants, New Mexico, earned a Master's Degree in counseling from Western New Mexico University and is a licensed therapist. Her previous experience includes a position as the Mental Health Manager for the New Mexico State Department of Correction as well as working in several counties within New Mexico.

Gretchen Larson Woods, PMHCNS-BC, has been with RMCHCS for 12 years as a nurse manager and practitioner. She is a prescribing psychiatric nurse practitioner, providing psychotropic medication management and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. Ms. Woods completed a Master of Nursing degree at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington in 1980. Her post graduate work was in the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Ms. Woods served as a clinical faculty member at the University of Washington, University of Hawaii, and University of New Mexico School of Nursing. She also has years of private practice experience as a prescribing and counseling provider in collaboration with a psychiatrist.
