Medical Assistant - College Clinic
Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant performs patient care activities under the supervision of the Director of Clinics, RNs and/or physicians. May assist physicians and patient care staff with medical outpatient procedures. The Medical Assistant is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or a combination of experience in lieu of a diploma is required.

Experience:
One (1) year previous healthcare experience preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification(s):
BLS certification required. (If BLS verification is not current upon hire must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
If hired without a CMA or RMA certification, the individual will be required to complete the CMA and RMA certification within six (6) months of hire.
