Medical/Surgical

RMCHCS medical/surgical unit has 38 licensed beds, four of which are dedicated pediatric beds. The medical/surgical team is made up of highly skilled hospitalists, pediatricians, nurses, certified nurse assistants, technicians and social workers who provide round the clock compassionate care for patients of all ages. Patient safety and quality care is a priority at RMCHCS and our multidisciplinary team of health care providers are able to effectively treat patients with a wide spectrum of acute illnesses. The medical/surgical unit is equipped with a state-of-the-art central monitoring system so patients can be monitored from the nurses station at all times during their hospital stay.
