Hospital-based care - 1901 red rock drive
Hospital care for patients admitted to RMCHCS - including the Acute Care Unit, an 18-bed Medical/Surgical Unit, anesthesiology, cardiopulmonary services, respiratory care, radiology, and the Swing Bed rehabilitation program.

Located on the third floor, the RMCHCS ACU provides expert care for critically ill patients. Equipped with private rooms and a centralized monitoring system, the ACU team ensures around-the-clock support.
The unit features state-of-the-art equipment and multidisciplinary team of hospitalists, nurses and case managers, delivering personalized care. For inquiries, contact the ACU nurses station.
The RMCHCS Medical/Surgical Unit is an 18-bed facility designed to provide compassionate and expert care for patients with a wide range of acute medical conditions. The unit is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled hospitalists, nurses, patient care technicians, and case managers, working together to deliver round-the-clock, individualized care for patients of all ages. A centralized monitoring system allows continuous observation of patients’ vital signs from the nurses’ station.
The Medical/Surgical team treats a broad spectrum of illnesses and conditions, including:
The RMCHCS Department of Anesthesia provides a wide range of clinical anesthesia and pain management services for inpatient and outpatient settings, including the operating room, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), emergency department, ACU, and Labor & Delivery. A board-certified anesthesiologist and certified nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) are integral to the RMCHCS surgical team. Preand post-surgical consultations are conducted to explain procedures and potential side effects.
The Cardiopulmonary Department provides a full range of services, including respiratory therapy, pulmonary care, cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and sleep studies, located on the second floor. On-site cardiologists offer consultations, follow-ups, stress testing, EKG, and Holter monitoring; pediatric cardiology services are available by referral. The Respiratory Therapy Department provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to support the diagnosis and management of pulmonary disorders. Licensed respiratory therapists assist patients with breathing difficulties caused by chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma or emphysema, conduct lung function tests, and educate patients on managing asthma, COPD, and other breathing disorders. A certified neonatal and pediatric respiratory specialist, accredited by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association, is part of the team.
The diagnostic imaging department performs procedures with high-technology modalities. In addition to an on-site board-certified radiologist, RMCHCS has board-certified radiologists available via teleradiology provided by CoAxtion Medical Group. Radiologists and certified technologists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Swing Bed is a hospital-based rehabilitation service designed to support patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery - focused on restoring strength, balance, mobility, and overall function so patients can regain independence and safely transition back to daily life. А coordinated team including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, case managers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, a dietary team, and an activities coordinator creates personalized care plans addressing each patient's physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
