Flex Nurse I or II $12K Sign-on-Bonus & Relocation - Patient Care Admin
Position Summary:

Flex Nurse I:
The Flex Registered Nurse I is responsible to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer to provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Competency is evaluated based on assessment of the nurse’s ability to utilize the nursing process as it applies to formulating an appropriate plan for care and analyzing the effectiveness of interventions. Duties are of considerable difficulty and are based on scientific principles and standards of nursing practice. This position requires the RN to be competent and able to work in at least three (3) departments within the organization. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program is required.
Bachelor’s in Nursing is preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

Required Licensure/Certification(s):
Current RN license to practice professional Nursing in the State of New Mexico or qualified compact state.
Current verification in Basic Life Support is required. If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.
ICU/MSP – Completion of ACLS within three (3) months of hire and PALS within six (6) months of hire required.
ED – Completion of ACLS, and NRP within three (3) months of hire and ENPC within six (6) months of hire required.
OR- Completion of ACLS within three (3) months of hire and PALS within six (6) months of hire required.
