Board of Trustee
Position Summary:
The Board of Trustees assures the community health needs are being served through a commitment to excellence. Works with management on an annual operating plan and assures adherence to a Strategic Plan while meeting the community needs. Hiring, evaluating and serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO. Reviews outcomes and metrics for evaluation of operational and clinical performance. Approval of RMCHCS’ annual budget, audit reports and material business decisions. Stays informed and meets all legal, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities while serving on committees/task forces and taking on special assignments. Represents the institution to stakeholders while acting as an ambassador to advocate for the organization.

Qualifications:
Prior leadership experience in business, government, philanthropy and/or a non-profit sector with a strong background with healthcare.

Experience:
•Professional experience in healthcare as an administrator, consultant, provider and/or advisor.
•Relevant professional experience with significant executive leadership accomplishments in business and/or the non-profit sector.
•A commitment to and understanding of RMCHCS’ beneficiaries, consumers, workforce and market, preferably based on experience.
•Tactical diplomatic skills for cultivating relationships while persuading, convening, facilitating and building consensus among diverse individuals.
•Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and a passion for improving the lives of RMCHCS’ beneficiaries.
