Memorial Services

In November of each year, the RMCHCS chaplain hosts a memorial service. Family members of patients who have died in the hospital or in RMCHCS' hospice program over the past year, are invited to attend the service. The service lasts about an hour and includes readings and prayers and a few brief words of comfort given by the hospital chaplain. Special music and the reading out loud of the names of all those who have passed away makes for a very special time for grieving families.

Families who RSVP with the chaplain receive a beautiful ceramic ornament with the name of their loved one inscribed on. The service takes place in the solarium, located on the third floor of the hospital.
