Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Agency Director, is responsible for provision of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive nursing care to patients of all ages, in their own homes. Formulates an appropriate nursing plan of care, with goals mutually set by the RN and the patient and/or caregiver. Formulates an appropriate and safe aide plan of care. Supervises the aide every 14 days in the patients' homes. Assesses the effectiveness of interventions and education to the patient and his family.

Basic Qualifications:
•Graduate from a school of Registered Nursing.

•At least one to three years recent nursing experience in Home Health and Hospice Care preferred but will accept ICU, medical-surgical, or pediatric nursing experience.
•Navajo or Spanish speaking capability beneficial .

•Licensure & Certifications:
•Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of New Mexico.
•Current verification in Basic Life Support (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must obtain within 3 months of hire).

•Valid Driver's License.
