The RMCHCS Auxiliary hosts four community blood drives throughout the year. For two days, community members can stop by the third floor hospital solarium to donate blood. Blood drives are typically held in February, May, August and November of each year. The blood drives are held in partnership with United Blood Services, Albuquerque, NM who considers the Gallup blood drives among the most successful of their community blood drives.
Further information on United Blood Services can be found on its website at: www.unitedbloodservices.org.
